Accessibility Statement

How2Medicare serves people who are turning 65 and beyond, and many of our readers use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, or larger text. We are committed to making every page usable, readable, and clear.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That covers color contrast, text size and spacing, keyboard access, form labels, and meaningful alternative text for images.

Pages use proper heading structure so screen readers can navigate them. Interactive elements — menus, accordions, calculators, and forms — are reachable and operable with a keyboard and have visible focus states. Body text is set at a comfortable size with generous line spacing, and color combinations are chosen for contrast rather than decoration. Images that carry meaning have descriptive alt text.

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review new pages and tools as they launch, and we fix issues as we find them or as they are reported. Some third-party content, such as partner enrollment portals, is outside our direct control.
